Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Border Security Council, officially inaugurated the 27th edition of INTERSEC at the Dubai World Trade Centre, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for safety, security, and fire protection industries.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officials including Lieutenant General Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Civil Defence; Dr Abdullah Businada, Director General of Dubai Customs; Lieutenant General Awad Hader Al Muhairi, Vice President of Dubai State Security Department; Mishaal Julfar, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services; and Khalifa Ibrahim Al Saleis, CEO of the Security Industry Regulatory Authority (SIRA).
INTERSEC 2026 brings together more than 1,200 exhibitors from over 60 countries and is expected to attract over 50,000 visitors worldwide. Spread across 65,000 square metres, the exhibition highlights Dubai’s leadership in advancing global security and resilience through innovation and collaboration.
During his tour, Sheikh Mansoor reviewed cutting-edge solutions presented by national, regional, and international companies, including advanced firefighting drones, robotic fire suppression systems, high-altitude rescue vehicles, and emergency response technologies designed for complex environments.
He emphasized that INTERSEC serves as a vital platform uniting government entities, private sector leaders, and global experts to showcase the latest technologies and strategic solutions shaping the future of security and emergency preparedness.
