Etihad Airways has launched its Global Sale, offering travellers up to 26 per cent off Economy fares across its international network, giving early planners an incentive to lock in travel for 2026.
The sale runs until January 15 and applies to travel between February 5 and September 30, 2026. According to the airline, the campaign is designed to encourage holidaymakers worldwide to experience Abu Dhabi, which continues to grow as both a stopover hub and a destination in its own right.
The Global Sale covers a wide range of destinations across Etihad’s expanding network. Long-haul and leisure routes included in the promotion feature cities such as Charlotte, Krabi, Hong Kong and Taipei, offering travellers greater flexibility and choice. Passengers booking under the sale will continue to enjoy Etihad’s full Economy-class experience, including inflight dining and onboard services.
The launch of the sale comes as Etihad enters 2026 following a record-breaking year. The UAE’s national carrier carried 22.4 million passengers in 2025, its highest annual figure to date, marking a 21 per cent increase compared to the previous year. December alone set a new monthly record with 2.2 million passengers, representing a 28 per cent year-on-year rise.
Growth has been supported by the airline’s largest fleet expansion to date. Etihad added 29 aircraft in 2025, bringing its operating fleet to 127 aircraft, while its destination network expanded from 94 to 110 cities, strengthening connectivity across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and select long-haul markets.
