Sharjah, November 3, 2026 : To the sound of the UAE national anthem, the UAE flag was raised on Tuesday morning in the presence of 1,469 publishers from 126 countries, marking UAE Flag Day during the third day of the 16th Sharjah International Publishers Conference, the world’s largest gathering for buying and selling publishing rights.
The flag-raising ceremony was attended by department directors, SBA employees and conference guests. The ceremony brought together a national occasion with an international publishing community, reflecting pride in the UAE.
