As football excitement builds across the emirate, Sharjah Police have released a detailed set of safety and conduct guidelines for spectators attending matches, under the slogan “Comply to Enjoy.” The initiative aims to ensure smooth entry, public safety, and a family-friendly atmosphere inside stadiums.
Fans are advised to arrive early to avoid congestion at entry points and ensure timely access to their seats. Carrying valid tickets—either digital or printed—and cooperating with security checks is mandatory. Spectators must sit only in their assigned seats and follow instructions from organisers and security personnel.
Sharjah Police stressed zero tolerance for safety violations. Fireworks, flammable materials, and any items posing fire or security risks are strictly prohibited. Pitch invasion, crossing security barriers, or engaging in suspicious activity is not allowed and should be reported immediately to stadium officials.
Authorities also highlighted the importance of respectful behaviour. Supporters are encouraged to cheer positively and display good sportsmanship, while fighting, abusive conduct, and offensive language will lead to penalties. Flags and banners are permitted as long as they do not contain inappropriate or offensive content.
In addition, spectators are reminded to respect privacy by avoiding unauthorised filming and harmful content sharing. Stadiums remain smoke-free, and fans are urged to dispose of waste responsibly to maintain cleanliness.
Sharjah Police emphasised that compliance with these guidelines helps keep stadiums safe spaces for celebration, ensuring an enjoyable match-day experience for all.
