Islamabad: High-level peace talks between the United States and Iran have commenced in Islamabad, marking a crucial diplomatic effort to stabilise the Middle East after weeks of escalating tensions. The negotiations are being hosted by Pakistan, which has stepped in as a mediator to bring both sides to the table following a fragile ceasefire agreement.
Senior delegations from Washington and Tehran arrived in the Pakistani capital under tight security, reflecting the sensitivity of the discussions.
