Metro, tram, and bus schedules adjusted for Monday, June 15; certain customer centres and vehicle testing sites to close.
DUBAI – Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially announced updated operating hours for all its public transport services, customer happiness centres, and public parking lots in observance of the Hijri New Year 1448 public holiday. The revised schedules will primarily take effect on Monday, June 15, 2026, ensuring smooth commuting and transit management across the emirate during the holiday period.
As part of the holiday adjustments, all paid public parking zones across Dubai will be free of charge on Monday, June 15. However, the RTA clarified that this exemption does not apply to multi-storey parking terminals. Standard parking tariffs will automatically resume on Tuesday, June 16.
For rail commuters, the Dubai Metro’s Red and Green Lines will operate from 5:00 AM until 12:00 midnight on Monday. Meanwhile, the Dubai Tram will run from 6:00 AM on Monday until 1:00 AM the following day, providing extended hours for residents and visitors.
Those relying on public buses are advised to check the S’hail smart application for the most up-to-date schedule changes. Crucially, commuters heading to the UAE capital should note that Bus Route E100 (from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Abu Dhabi) will be suspended from Saturday, June 13, through Monday, June 15. Passengers are directed to utilize Route E101 departing from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to travel to Abu Dhabi during these three days.
Regarding customer operations, all physical RTA Customer Happiness Centres and third-party Service Provider Centres (Vehicle Testing) will remain closed on Monday, June 15, with normal operations resuming on Tuesday. To minimize inconvenience, the smart kiosks located at Deira, Al Barsha, Al Tawar, Al Kifaf, and the RTA Headquarters—alongside the Umm Ramool Customer Happiness Centre—will continue to operate 24/7. Commuters looking for specific marine transport timings during the Hijri New Year holiday are encouraged to check the RTA’s dedicated digital link (https://rta.ink/4ieNSa0).
