Dubai: The UAE will emerge stronger from current challenges, operating at full efficiency across all sectors, said Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He highlighted the resilience of the nation and praised the strong national spirit of both citizens and residents.
Speaking after chairing a Cabinet meeting on Sunday, Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed that all sectors are functioning in line with the commitment made by Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to safeguard the country’s achievements and continue progress despite ongoing regional tensions.
Officials confirmed that the UAE has faced more than 2,300 drones and missiles since February 28, with the majority successfully intercepted. Sheikh Mohammed noted that the Armed Forces remain at a high level of defensive readiness, while national institutions continue to operate with maximum efficiency. He also emphasized that the private sector is actively contributing and adapting responsibly to evolving circumstances.



He praised the unity and sense of responsibility shown by people across the country, stating that the UAE’s strength lies in its core values, including advanced infrastructure, technological progress, and a flexible, forward-looking governance system.
During the meeting, the Cabinet approved a five-year strategy for the UAE’s space sector, which is valued at over Dh44 billion and includes more than 170 entities. The country has already launched 30 satellites and completed a Mars mission, with new missions to Venus and the asteroid belt underway. The UAE aims to rank among the top 10 nations globally in the space sector within five years.
The Cabinet also endorsed a national strategy for integrative medicine to enhance healthcare by combining traditional and modern practices. Additionally, several international partnerships in advanced technology sectors were approved.
More than 120 international agreements and memoranda of understanding were also cleared, covering key areas such as energy, investment, economy, diplomacy, and humanitarian work. Sheikh Mohammed noted that the UAE’s global presence continues to expand through strong and longstanding international partnerships.
