Popular Tamil Nadu–based restaurant brand Manna Mess has officially announced its international entry with the launch of its first outlet in Dubai. The expansion is being executed through a strategic franchise partnership with the Landmark Zenath (LMZ) Group, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s growth journey.
Founded in Acharapakkam, Tamil Nadu, by Mr. Jayaraj, a Tamil professor turned entrepreneur, Manna Mess began as a modest mess serving traditional meals. Over time, it has grown into a trusted name with five locations across Tamil Nadu, known for its authentic flavours, simple service, and meals served on banana leaves.
The brand is guided by its philosophy, “Asaivathil Arokiyam”, meaning Health in Non-Veg. Manna Mess focuses on using local ingredients, avoiding artificial food colours and masalas, and preparing meals that balance taste with health. The restaurants are designed to offer a clean, hygienic environment with a welcoming ambience and attentive service.
The first UAE outlet is set to open in Al Qusais, Dubai, featuring an open mess-style layout and ample parking for customer convenience. The Dubai outlet aims to recreate the warmth and traditional dining experience that has made Manna Mess popular in Tamil Nadu.
The expansion is supported by LMZ Group, led by Mr. Deen Sadiq, Group Director. The group has a strong presence in hospitality, real estate, and food & beverage sectors in the Middle East, with established brands including Landmark Hotels, Zenath Real Estate, Sangeetha Veg Restaurants, Tapa King, and Arabian Majlis.
With this partnership, Manna Mess aims to introduce authentic Tamil cuisine to Dubai’s diverse food scene while staying true to its cultural roots and commitment to quality.
