Hotpack, a UAE-based global manufacturer of eco-friendly packaging products, has been recognized with the ‘Sustainable Business of the Year’ award in the FMCG sector at the Middle East Sustainability 2040 Awards.
The awards honor organizations that implement environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives in alignment with the United Nations’ sustainability goals. Hotpack received the recognition for reducing environmental impact across its manufacturing operations and for aligning its strategies with national net-zero initiatives.
According to Abdul Jabbar, CEO and Managing Director of Hotpack Group, sustainability is embedded across all stages of production—from design to manufacturing and distribution. “97% of our products are recyclable, designed to minimize carbon footprint and decomposable without releasing harmful residues. This award reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainable practices,” he said.
The awards, organized in conjunction with Dubai’s Sustainable 2040 initiative, follow a rigorous evaluation framework based on People, Purpose, Planet, and Partnership principles. Recently, Hotpack was also recognized among the top 5% of global organizations in ESG performance, receiving the EcoVadis Gold Medal.
Hotpack continues to set new standards in the Middle East FMCG sector through innovation, responsibility, and environmentally-conscious business practices.
